KVK Champhai District, Khawzawl, Mizoram conducted training on “Advance in Potato production technologies under NEH Scheme” on 23^rd January, 2025 at KVK training Hall, Khawzawl. The programme was conducted in collaboration with ICAR- CPRI, RS, Shilling, Meghalaya. Dr. Ngursangzuala, Senior Scientist & Head, ICAR- CPRI, RS, Shillong delivered lecture on potato production technologies followed by Farmers Scientists Interaction and Distribution of potato seeds and farm inputs. 

41 potato farmers from 7 villages within Champhai and Khawzawl district attended the training. 50 quintals of Potato seeds received from Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), NEH Scheme and other farm inputs were distributed to the farmers from Khawzawl, Zotlang, Tuipui, Chawngtlai, Neihdawn, Rabung and Khawhai villages.
